STEERING WHEEL TEXTURE UPGRADE for BPR GT:
 -version 1.0

Thanks for downloading this small UPGRADE to the BPR Endurance GT Mod of F12002. The "Steering Wheel Texture Upgrade for BPR GT" is meant to be a small improvement to the in-cockpit quality of the BPR Endurance GT Mod. It replaces the original low rez steering wheel with one of four new high-rez steering wheels of your choice.

You have four NEW STEERING WHEELS to choose from:
-McLaren F1 GTR-specific wheel
-Ferrari F40-specific wheel
-Lotus Esprit GT1-specific wheel
-MOMO steering wheel

This upgrade has not been tested on any mods other than the BPR Mod for F12002, and it probably won't work with any other mods. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to email me.

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to distribute this mod or use it in a file of your own, please email me for permission first so that I will know where it is going. Finding and editing the perfect images for this upgrade took a long time. So if you use it in a mod of your own, please give me credit and let me know so I can enjoy it too!

REASON FOR THIS MOD:
The old steering wheel was OK. But I didn't like the fact that you could see the pixels from the low rez image. The cars and cockpits were so well detailed. So I took it upon myself to make a new texture to use.

See "How To Install" for more explanation of this structure.

-----------------
HOW TO INSTALL:
Unzip the New_StWheel zip file. Open the different newly-unzipped folders and choose which steering wheel you want to use in the game. The files are all named identically so that they will all work in the game. But you can only use one at a time. So copy and paste the wheel (stwheel.BMP file) you want into your Vehicles folder.

For example:
My name is Jon. And today I am going to drive the McLaren F1 GTR. So I will use the new and improved McLaren F1 steering wheel. I open the McLaren_F1 folder and copy the stwheel.BMP file that is in there. Then I go to my vehicles folder, \EA Sports\F1 2002\BPR1996Season\Vehicles\, and I paste the file into that folder. That's it! Tomorrow, if I want to use the Ferrari F40 wheel, then I will copy and paste that stwheel.BMP file into the vehicles folder, overwriting the one I just placed in there. That's it!
